Dear Homeowners,
Thank you to those that submitted ballots for the Election at the 2018 Annual Homeowners Meeting. A total of 83 ballots were received which established a quorum to hold the annual members meeting. The results of the Election were as follows:
(A) Election of Directors: Alan Horwitz 72 Votes Curt Beyer – Write in Candidate 6 Votes
(B) IRS Revenue Ruling: Approve 81 Votes Not Approved 1 Vote
(C) Approval of the 2017 Meeting Minutes: Approve 78 Votes Not Approved 1 Vote
Ad-Hoc vote on Community desires for the Perimeter Palm Tree Plan: The majority of homeowners present indicated their desire to reduce the number of palms by half; retain date palms near entrances and at the Gerald Ford – Da Vall corner; and install Washingtonian palms in intervening spaces. The Landscape Architect will prepare final plans in concert with the community’s desires and submit for approval by the City.
Following the conclusion of the Annual Homeowner Meeting the new Board of Directors convened to a brief organizational meeting. At that meeting it was agreed by a unanimous vote that the Officers for 2018-2019 would be as follows:
