PROPOSED 2019 HOUSE PAINTING POLICY UPDATE
Overview Montage Exterior House Painting Policy Update
The Architectural Review Committee and the Board of Directors have been working on a proposed update and revisions to the current House Painting Policy. It is important for all members to review and understand the revisions proposed in the update and ask questions prior to formal consideration by the Board of Directors. Association members are required to obtain advance approval by the Architectural Review Committee for any proposed house painting project prior to the execution of work.
The purposes of the House Painting Policy update are generally as follows:
- To provide information and a reminder about the Montage house painting policy to all new and long-standing members of the Association.
- To clarify and improve the process for submitting an Architectural Variance Request (AVR) related to proposed house painting requests and approvals.
- To update the current palette of house painting schemes from nine schemes to twelve schemes (and the addition of five new accent colors) to provide more variety in approved house painting options which have been coordinated with the current Montage paint schemes and reflect current trends in home colors consistent with Montage architecture.
